By accessing or using the Simplin application and web platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Simplin is an NFC-powered employee time tracking and workforce management platform designed for small businesses in the United States. The Service includes:
- NFC, PIN, and QR-based clock in/out functionality
- GPS-verified attendance tracking
- Payroll report generation and export
- Employee schedule management
- Business administration dashboard
- Mobile applications for iOS and Android
3. User Accounts
Business Owners
Business owners register for the Service by providing their business name, address, and contact information. As a business owner, you are responsible for managing your employees and ensuring accurate time records.
Employees
Employees access the Service through the mobile application after being added to a business by their employer. Employees must connect to a store using a store code provided by their employer.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Falsify time records or attendance data
- Attempt to circumvent GPS or NFC verification systems
- Access another user's account without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
5. Data Ownership
Business owners retain ownership of their business data, including employee records and time entries. You grant Simplin a license to use this data solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. Pricing and Payment
Simplin offers a free tier with limited features. Premium features may require a paid subscription. Pricing details are available on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Simplin does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. While we strive for accuracy in time tracking and payroll calculations, you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simplin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the mobile application or by contacting us at support@simplin.ai. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Business owners may export their data before account termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
