Delete Account & Data

1. Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Simplin app. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Simplin app and navigate to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
  3. Review the warning and tap "Delete My Account".
  4. Confirm one final time by tapping "Yes, Delete Forever".

Your account will be deleted immediately. You will be signed out and will no longer be able to log in with your credentials.

2. Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account or data deletion by contacting us at support@simplin.ai. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your login credentials and authentication data
  • Device identifiers linked to your account
  • Organization memberships (unless you are the owner)
  • Your account connection to any employee profile

4. What Gets Retained

Certain records are retained to comply with labor laws and to support your employer's legal obligations:

  • Time and attendance records — clock in/out history and hours worked (required by federal and state labor regulations, typically retained for 3–7 years)
  • Payroll records — pay rates and compensation history
  • Employee profile — name and role for your employer's HR records (unlinked from your login account)

These records are disassociated from your account and cannot be used to identify you as a platform user.

5. Request Partial Data Deletion

If you would like to delete specific data without deleting your entire account, please contact us at support@simplin.ai with details of your request. We will review it and respond within 30 days.
